Career Day

Career Day at my school was a great experience to see all the different types of jobs that there are out in our world today. I got to see and understand how much jobs pay or what type of education you need to be good at your job. The one job that I saw and thought is a great thing for today because of the loss of jobs was the Detroit Zoo. The lady told us that there are so many types of jobs needed for the zoo for example a zoo keeper, plumer, electrician or an animal education teacher. This area provides many jobs for many people. I also liked when I was able to talk to a man who worked for our city to help kids stay away from drugs. I thought that his job was doing a great thing to help our city and he was getting payed good money for doing it. Today as I and my age group get older it is going to be harder to find the jobs we need. This is because many of the older workers have lost there jobs and many companies want workers with more experience like the older workers. This can cause a big problem for people like me because when I get older I could be without a job. I learned a lot from many people and I know know that if you want to do good then you need a good education.
